So how can we work together when it comes to recycling your frames?
The first bit is by you choosing Elitis as your supplier… that’s your job done. The rest is then up to us.
When our Elitis installers are replacing your frames or doors, instead of taking the old ones to landfill, they are collected and brought back to our recycling depot. Since 2009 we have recycled over 400 tonnes of frames and waste. All this has been converted to pellets which is then used for the next batch of PVCu windows and other plastics.
We are members of the British plastics Federation with whom we work very closely to gain information on best practices when it comes to recycling. This means that you as a consumer can rest assured that your old frames are being dealt with in the best possible manner.
