Traditional door designs

Georgian and Regency style

A typical Georgian front door would incorporate a 6 panel design without glass. The top 2 panels would usually be smaller and in the later Georgian era sometimes contained glazed panels.

Victorian

Victorian doors were a continuation in style from the Georgian period. Usually fitted with 4 or 6 panels, more glass was often used in some of the larger panels. Victorian doors were often made from softwood and painted or stained to accentuate the grain and imitate a hardwood look. Our composite doors also replicate a traditional timber finish with their stylish wood grain effect outer layer.

Edwardian

Edwardian entrance doors were often painted in bold reds and greens. With a range of different panel configurations and glazing options; Edwardian fashions are now mirrored in the 21st century.

1920s traditional

1920s entrance doors often featured a decorative glass top panel and cast iron furniture. Often painted dark green or black, the 20’s style remains contemporary today.

1930s moderne

1930s styles frequently incorporated frosted or coloured glass panels in their design. They would often feature a central glazed panel running the length of the door and were usually fitted with chrome furniture to accentuate the moderne look.

Our range of composite doors has something to suit all tastes and styles of property. Whether you live in a traditional period property or a modern 21st century building, our composite doors will add a touch of class to any home.
